Sonam Kapoor Walks The Ramp For Tarun Tahiliani

Day 2 and 3 of lakme fashion week was overshadowed by none other than Sonam Kapoor! The vivacious actress walked the ramp in pristine white, for the Levi’s collection by Tarun Tahiliani on the day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week. Whereas, day 3 was a dedication to guys! Digvijay Singh attributed contemporary and chic look for boys. Sundry men’s wear by Dev R NIL was also highly applauded.

Let’s not kid anyone here. Organisers of the Lakme Fashion Week might be pushing hard to brand the week-long fashion fiesta Mumbai’s ‘it’ event, but if the sluggish pace of the models, the less than chirpy PR people, the red-eyed media people and empty rows were any indication, we may actually have had enough.

And this was Day 1. With two fashion weeks having just gotten over in the national capital a night ago, people aka buyers, photographers and curious guests looked like they could not be bothered about any more cuts, colours and costumes.

In fact, the show that kick started the day and event was unintentionally an indication of the been-there-done-that times. Delhi designers Shantanu and Nikhil, who showed at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week too, presented a collection of gowns, dresses and coats in red, black and grey that had, in part, already been modeled at the recently concluded Chivas Fashion tour.
